NORWALK, CONN. (WTIC RADIO)-A suspect from Norwalk faces charges for allegedly stabbing a man on Ely Avenue Sunday afternoon just after two.
Multiple officers provided emergency medical aid to the victim and to look for the suspect. Police said the victim was stabbed on the right side of his abdomen. The victim was transported to Norwalk Hospital and treated for his injuries.
Other officers caught the suspect, identified as Jose Luis Pineda-Rodrigues. Police also located the crime scene.
Pineda-Rodrigues is charged with first-degree assault. He appears in court October 3rd.
