Bristol, Conn./WTIC Radio - The death on Christmas Day of an elderly woman in Bristol has now been classified as a homicide.
City detectives say the were dispatched to a home on Morningside Drive West just after 11:30 a.m. Monday to conduct a wellness check.
When they arrived, the found the victim, Diana Jones, dead in a bedroom of the home.
Initially, police deemed the 83-year-old's death suspicious.
They are now asking anyone with any information on the case to contact police
