I hate spiders. I get a visceral reaction all over my body just *looking* at pictures of them. That pic of the dead spider up top, yeah, that's making me wanna gag right now. So as you can see, happy ending for me — not so happy ending for the spider trying to murder me last night.
Anyway, to rewind — I was looking through my kitchen window enjoying the fresh late September breeze when I noticed a giant, furry legged spider hanging on a web between a large overgrown shrub and my house. I immediately did what anyone terrified of arachnids would do, panic. I grabbed the nearest Raid I could find (which was for cockroaches BTW) and took my weapon of choice outside to take on my murderous attacker.
