Connecticut State Police release the name of a man from the Cos Cob section of Greenwich who was killed in a Sunday evening crash.
Troopers responded around 6:10 p.m. Sunday to the report of a crash on southbound side of the Merritt Parkway near Exit 15 in New Canaan near the highway's rest area in the town.
That's where a 2023 Subaru Outback Gary Berner, 87, of Cos Cob, had been driving before the vehicle collided with a crash attenuator and rolled over on its roof.
Berner was pronounced dead at the scene.
