(WTIC Radio) - Connecticut State Police are investigating a deadly Thursday afternoon crash on I-84 in East Hartford.
Troopers say it's unknown why Yomar Berrios, 18, of East Hartford, lost control of the 2005 Honda Accord he was driving around 5:45 p.m. on I-84 Westbound near Exit 56.
Berrios slammed into the back of a box truck before further losing control and slammed into a tractor trailer that was ahead of the box truck.
State Police say Berrios was pronounced dead at Hartford Hospital.
