
Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - An arrest has been made in a vehicle versus pedestrian hit-and-run crash from last year in Hartford.

Under arrest is Karanja Thomas, 45, of Vine Street in Hartford.
It was last March 31 that police say Thomas struck three pedestrians while driving east on New Britain Avenue, killing 20-year old Trinity College student Jillian Hegarty of Saint Johnsbury, Vermont.
One other victim was seriously injured and a third sustained minor injuries.
Police said Thomas fled the scene after hitting the victims.
He is now facing charges of negligent homicide, assault, reckless endangerment, evading responsibilty and driving on a suspended license.
Bond was set at $300,000 dollars.
