Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - Connecticut's severe cold weather protocol has been activated by Governor Lamont.

With temperatures hard pressed to get out of the 20s over the next few days, the protocol runs through Thursday.

This  means agencies and municipalties will coordinate their efforts to ensure the state's most vulnerable residents have the resources needed to protect them from the cold weather.

Those who need shelter or information on services can call 2-1-1 or visit 211ct.org.
