Police: No evidence of shots fired at Danbury High School

Danbury, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Danbury police have found no evidence of gunfire at or near Danbury High School after responding to a shots fired call this morning.

At around 7:55 a.m., police said they received the report and immediately dispatched multiple patrol units. No injuries were reported from the incident.

The school briefly sheltered in place out of an abundance of caution, an order which has since been lifted.

Danbury police are still investigating the incident.
