Southbury, Conn./WTIC Radio - State Police say one of their own has been suspended following allegations of sexual assault.
A little after 1:30 Wednesday morning, Southbury town constables were called a home on Old Field Road.
It was there, police say, that an individual levied the allegation against Trooper Jose Campos.
Campos has been suspended pending the outcome of an investigation.
In addition, his police powers have been revoked.
The case is being handled by the State Police Central District Major Crime Squad.
