Watertown, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Police in Watertown have reopened the area of Main Street and Cherry Avenue.
This, after an inert grenade was found earlier this evening.
The State Police Bomb Squad determined it was a real grenade devoid of any explosives.
The discovery was made by a utility crew and an officer working in the road.
No injuries were reported.
