Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in Hartford are investigating after they received a report of a shooting Thursday afternoon.
Officers said they were alerted via ShotSpotter to shots fired in the area of 84 Douglas Street just before 5:00 p.m.
When they arrived, they found a 19-year-old female suffering from a gunshot wound.
She was alert and conscious on scene and later rushed to an area hospital.
It's believed her injuries are non life-threatening.
