During a recent visit to Audacy’s St. Louis' Hot 104.1 studios Nick Cannon chopped it up with Shorty Da PrinceBrittish Williams and Andrew Caldwell of The Home Team Morning Show. The conversation obviously included Nick’s ever growing number of offspring, plus his brand new show Future Superstar and more.

“Everybody obviously know the energy from the Wild N Out tour, so we’re gonna bring that back,” Nick said of his brand new project that he defines as “edu-tainment” (education and entertainment).

Breaking down what the live audience city-to-city tour is about, Nick said, “it’s almost like when you go to any other concert they have meet and greets before the show… This is really about the community so, we’re educating during that process. We’re doing a panel, an industry panel, people from the community and people that are obviously a part of this tour, and all of that is shot for the television show as well. And then, that goes about 45 minutes, I give the audience an opportunity to ask questions, tap in, and then we start the show.” A concert of “superstars we thought were gonna blow up this year” handpicked by XXL Freshman Class originator and Editor-in-Chief of Vibe, Datwon Thomas, Nick, and BET.

The morning show crew naturally moved the conversation along to Nick’s ever growing family, first asking him if he plans to have any more. Already a father to 12, Nick replied, “Is that a challenge?... I really don’t know – I tried to say I wasn’t having anymore kids after two, after six, after eight… I don’t know, to be honest…”

Gifting him his 12 children is a list of six baby mamas — Mariah Carey, Brittany Bell, Abby De La Rosa, Alyssa Scott, Bre Tiesi, and LaNisha Cole.

Talking about the mothers of his children and the relationships he has with them all, Nick expressed, “I have so much respect and admiration for the individual. Everybody has their challenges – but when you really understand this woman has given the greatest sacrifice, and sacrificed her body to bring a child into this world, that’s the best gift any man could ask for. Regardless of what goes on in any scenario, I’m gonna always show love and respect. I’ll never say anything disrespectful or bad about any of the mothers of my children.”

After noting Nick’s “pull-out game is trash” to which he amusingly responded, “or my insert game is amazing,” Shorty was curious if any of the pregnancies came as a surprise. Nick admitted having “two sets of twins” was what was most surprising. Though he did note finding out a child was coming was scarier when he was younger, but now middle-aged, “it's the happiest feeling anyone could ever experience.”

Nick also went on to share the financial aspects and arrangements he has with the women in his life, sharing “what they need, they get it… That’s why they call me the provider.” As well as an update on his health, lupus, current treatments, and more. To hear it all, listen to the whole conversation above.
