Former Speaker Tim Jones served in the Missouri House from 2007 to 2015. Tim then entered the private sector, becoming the first Director of Political Communications for St. Louis based media company “First Rule”. The fiscally minded “Missouri Club for Growth” named Tim their Chairman of the Board in 2015 and The Hammond Institute at Lindenwood University, a free market think tank, made Tim a Senior Policy Fellow that same year. Tim has become a significant media presence as a political analyst, commentator and host in the television, radio and digital online media worlds. In addition to The Tim Jones Show on FM NewsTalk 97.1, Sundays from 7pm – 9pm, he appears regularly on Allman in the Morning, The Marc Cox Show, The Randy Tobler Show, The Dave Glover Show, KDNL ABC30 broadcasts of The Allman Report and This Week in Missouri Politics, and on national broadcasts of NewsMax.com and numerous national online digital media outlets such as Ballotpedia.org. Tim began his career as a prosecuting attorney and then transitioned to private practice, while simultaneously serving on his city council and then in the state legislature, before beginning his current career in media and issue advocacy. Tim resides in Eureka, Missouri with his wonderful and ever patient wife, Suzanne, and their two very energetic daughters, Katie and Abby.
