Here's why Kyle Rittenhouse picked final jurors by 'drawing names from a hat'

The trial of Kyle Rittenhouse in Kenosha County, WI has seen a series of interesting events. The latest was when Rittenhouse chose the final jurors from a raffle tumbler.

Philip Holloway is a legal analyst and former police officer. He joins the Mark Reardon Show to discuss.

“Every jurisdiction does it a little bit differently. I’ll be honest with you, I don’t like that drawing the names out of a hat process,” says Holloway but he doesn’t question the credibility of the selection.

However, Holloway says he’s “troubled” by what he sees taking place outside of the courthouse.

“You have to ask yourself, is that influencing that jury?”
