With the trade deadline a day away, rumors are swirling faster than ever around the Tigers.

Where will Nicholas Castellanos end up? What about Shane Greene? Will Matthew Boyd be dealt at all?

Let's check in on the latest chatter.

On the Boyd front, MLB.com's Jon Morosi reported Tuesday morning that the Astros are "showing continued interest." As was the case when the two sides began talking last month, the Tigers are asking for 22-year-old outfielder Kyle Tucker, Houston's top prospect and the No. 13 overall prospect in baseball.

And the Astros aren't biting. Tucker has 27 homers and a .905 OPS in Triple-A this season.

Contrary to Morosi's report -- or perhaps in line with it -- USA Today's Bob Nightengale reported this morning that Boyd is "likely to stay put." The Tigers are asking for a ton for their ace, rightfully so, and haven't received the kind of offer to consider letting him go.

That can change, of course, by 4:00 on Wednesday afternoon.

Starter Matthew Boyd is likely to stay put now. No team has made an enticing offer to the #Tigers to persuade them to move him.

Other teams who have checked in on Boyd include the Yankees, Rays, Twins, Dodgers, Padres and Cubs.

On the other end of the spectrum is Castellanos, who's a near-lock to be traded.

Per Morosi, the Indians are the latest to join the mix. Detroit and Cleveland completed a midseason trade just a year ago when the Tigers landed shortstop prospect Willi Castro in exchange for Leonys Martin -- so this certainly isn't out of the question.

The #Indians, an AL-best 17-5 this month, have played well enough that they're exploring short-term offensive upgrades. One name they've considered, according to a source: Nicholas Castellanos of the division rival #Tigers. @MLB @MLBNetwork

Castellanos, who's hitting .298 with an .842 OPS over his last 35 games, has also drawn interest from the likes of the Cubs, Rays and Phillies. Unless they package him with another player, the Tigers likely won't get more than a mid-tier prospect for the pending free agent.

As for Greene, the market remains healthy. The Yankees, Rays, Phillies, Braves and Dodgers are all reportedly in on the Tigers All-Star closer. The Dodgers, whose 15 blown saves are the fifth most in the majors, appear to be the most serious suitors at the moment.

On his own, Greene is likely to land the Tigers a couple mid-to-upper tier prospects. His numbers are terrific and he's under team control through next season, but there are a number of quality relievers on the market -- and they don't tend to fetch a whole lot to start with.

Another Tigers reliever drawing lots of interest is Buck Farmer, who's in the midst of a career year and is under team control through 2022.
