Boat Guy Is Back! His Triumphant Return To The Valenti Show [FULL AUDIO]

He disappeared after he famously told The Valenti Show and its legion of fans, "I'm Boat Guy."

By his silence, Mike Valenti thought Boat Guy was offended by the drop and the song in his honor, and possibly all the calls about him that had affection, but slightly mocking edge.

But no, turns out Boat Guy was just traveling -- as Boat Guys are wont to do.

"We wondered about his physical safety, we wondered if he was angry at the show," Valenti said.

He returned Monday with a call that was welcomed like the last chopper out of  'Nam. Thank God, Boat Guy was back.

Boat Guy gave an exposition on proper boating weather and the rising and falling patterns of the moon.

It was a delight.

Amidst all the boat patter, he told The Valenti Show he had missed the hubbub about himself because he was traveling with his lovely wife to visit family, not ignoring his sudden fame.

Mike "Sully" Sullivan asked him a crucial question. What does Boat Guy drink on his water expeditions?

Hard apple cider, turns out.

And because he's Boat Guy, the well-meaning icon of peace and humility and knowledge of the seas, he left listeners with a warning. "You gotta be careful. Drinking and boating is just like drinking and driving. Always be responsible," he said.
