Britney Spears was one of the biggest stars in the entire world when she took the stage for the 2001 VMA's.
19 years later, that infamous performance is once again in the news -- but not because of the outfit she wore or the snake around her neck. It's all about who was in the background of the performance.
Doc Antle from the hit show Tiger King can be seen in the background of Spears' performance, hanging with his tiger. You'll remember Doc as the guy with the harem of young women to whom he may or may not have been married.
This all started because one Twitter user posted photos.

March 30, 2020 One photo suggests that Spears is also photographed with another key piece to the TV show, Carole Baskin.
There are conflicting reports if that is actually Baskin but that animal print suggests otherwise.
Carol's connection to the singer may well come through Doc, whose work with animals has led to production credits on a string of music videos and blockbuster films.
As well as assisting with wild animals on Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Mighty Joe Young and The Jungle Book, he has also worked with artists such as Ashanti, P. Diddy and Janet Jackson.
There have also been separate appearances on a host of mainstream talk shows, among them The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Late Night with David Letterman.
