The Lions are staying busy on the free agent market.
Shortly after introducing signees Trey Flowers, Justin Coleman and Jesse James on Thursday, the team announced the acquisition of safety Andrew Adams. Detroit also announced the official addition of offensive lineman Oday Aboushi.
Adams' deal is for one year, according to the Free Press.

— Detroit Lions (@Lions) March 14, 2019Adams, 26, led the Buccaneers and tied for seventh in the NFL with four interceptions last season. The Lions produced just seven picks as a team, tied for second to last. Adams also led the Buccs with nine passes defended.
General manager Bob Quinn said adding more playmakers on defense was a priority this offseason.
Entering his fourth NFL season, Adams will have a chance to replace Glover Quin in Detroit's secondary. He'll compete for playing time with Tracy Walker and Tavon Wilson.
Adams spent the first two seasons of his career with the Giants, playing against the Lions in both 2016 and 2017. He played under Lions defensive coordinator Paul Pasqualoni at UConn.
The acquisition is Detroit's sixth this week, starting Monday with the signing of Danny Amendola.
