July 28, 2019 While Castellanos has been the topic of trade rumors over the last several weeks, it did not appear that a trade was imminent. As the Tigers have reportedly been shopping the 27-year-old outfielder, the club is taking no chances of injury ahead of Wednesday's trade deadline.
Castellanos is sporting a .280 batting average, 37 RBIs and a Major League-best 36 doubles this season.
The Tigers moved Harold Castro from second base to right field and slotted Gordon Beckham into Sunday's lineup, starting at second.
