Trae Young is one of the top young players in the NBA. To fans of the Detroit Pistons, Chauncey Billups is an absolute legend.
Naturally, the pair took each other on in a game of HORSE Sunday evening on ESPN.
Watching it was a bit of a struggle due to technical difficulties, but the end result is something Pistons fans can cheer about. Down H-O-R, Mr. Big Shot came back to win.
In the words of Young, "If I'm gonna lose, I'm gonna have to lose to a Legend."
If I'm gonna lose, I'm gonna have to lose to a Legend ----♂️ and a mentor of mine✊-- Good Game... but believe me, we running it back next time I come visit you in Denver @1MrBigShot Deal? ---- #ImReadyToPlayForealAgain
— Trae Young (@TheTraeYoung) April 13, 2020Young also asked for a rematch sometime in the future, which Billups agreed to.
Of course bro. We will definitely run it back. Proud of u kid. You are doing what most didn't think you could. Keep it goin and stay humble. --
— Chauncey Billups (@1MrBigShot) April 13, 2020The coverage on ESPN, while shoddy at best, allowed us to see that Billups has an amazing court at his house -- while Young was playing in his driveway on the kind of generic hoop we all grew up shooting on.
