Here are some things to know before the CWS gets underway at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Nebraska.
Michigan's Schedule
The Wolverines will waste no time getting things rolling, as they face Texas Tech in the very first game of the CWS, getting things uderway at 2 p.m. ET on Saturday. The game will air on ESPN.
A win over the Red Raiders would move the Wolverines along in the winner's bracket with a game against either Florida State or Arkansas at 7 p.m. on Monday. A loss in their opener against TTU would mean an elimination game at 1 p.m. Monday against the loser of the Seminoles-Razorbacks game.

June 11, 2019 Michigan's Road to Omaha
Michigan finished second in the Big Ten regular season standings behind Indiana and fell short of the Big Ten tournament title, left to sweat things out a little bit on selection day.
The Wolverines ultimately earned the No. 3 seed in the Corvallis Regional, hosted by No. 16 overall seed Oregon State. The Wolverines knocked off Creighton in the regional opener and then took care of Cincinnati -- who knocked off OSU the night before -- in the second round.
Creighton was able to eliminate the host Beavers in the loser's bracket, meaning Michigan didn't have to face the regional favorites. After Creighton beat Michigan 11-7 in a win-or-go-home game for the Bluejays, the Wolverines bounced back and returned the favor 17-6 to win their first regional since 2007.

June 4, 2019 The regional championship earned the Wolverines at trip to Los Angeles, where they faced No. 1 overall seed UCLA in the super regional.
Michigan upset the Bruins in Game 1 of the super regional 3-2, raising some eyebrows.
The Wolverines rebounded, however, winning the final game of the super regional 4-2 on Sunday night, thanks in part to a strong start from Tommy Henry, who went a strong seven innings with six strikeouts, securing the program's first trip to Omaha since 1984.
