Figuring why not, Lions fan Kam Register DM'd Darius Slay on Twitter last Friday to invite him to his high school graduation party.
"Yo Darius, I am having my grad party tomorrow. I would absolutely die if you came. Is that possible?" Register asked.
Slay's response: "Where at what time"
After Register sent him the details, Slay told him he "might pop up." And then he did.

— Kam Register (@kamregister70) June 23, 2019This was no casual drop-by either. Slay apparently stayed for several hours, playing basketball with other members of the party and taking pictures and signing autographs. He even hooked up Register with a pair of signed gloves he wore at the Pro Bowl.

— Detroit Sports (@DETsports__) June 23, 2019As if all that wasn't enough, Slay then promised Register and his family tickets to a Lions game this season.
"Just pick a game," Slay said.

— Darius Slay (@_bigplayslay23) June 22, 2019Register called it "a fun and surreal experience." Sounds about right.
