August 24, 2019 The lone hope for going through the preseason is that your starters make it out healthy. Unfortunately for the Detroit Lions, a key defensive starter has gone down.
Second play of the game and Lions LB Jarrad Davis limps off, can't plant right leg. He slams football in disgust. Ugh.

August 24, 2019 After getting examined by the trainers on the sideline, a cart was summoned and Davis needed assistance to get from the bench onto the cart. Davis was taken to the locker room.
Obviously, you don’t want to jump to any conclusions, but with Davis unable to put any pressure on his leg, it appears this is a rather severe injury.
