The Coronavirus has taken over the sports world.
The Mid-American Conference has announced its men's and women's basketball tournaments scheduled to be held Wednesday-Saturday will be closed to the general public amid the COVID-19 outbreak.
Italian sports won allow fans in their stadiums until April. NBA players have been told to avoid high fives to limit the risk. NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS are closing their locker rooms amid virus scare. MSU dorms, events and in-person classes were canceled.
There was a riot at the University of Dayton when the dorms shut down.
Now it looks like people are afraid to fly.
Dan Wetzel of Yahoo Sports sent out a photo on his Instagram showing an empty Detroit Metropolitan Airport.
He captioned the photo, "Detroit Metropolitan Airport, 8 a.m. Never seen it this empty, let alone on a weekday morning. Not even post 9/11 was this quiet."
