It was a great weekend in the NFL playoffs for former Lions pass catchers. Golden Tate grabbed the game-winning touchdown in Philadelphia's 16-15 win over Chicago, and Eric Ebron -- surprise, surprise -- found pay dirt in Indianapolis' 21-7 win over Houston.

It was a fitting start to the playoffs for Ebron, who led all tight ends and tied for second overall with 13 touchdowns this season to earn his first career trip to the Pro Bowl.

Suddenly, all those drops in Detroit are a distant memory. So don't try and bring them up to Ebron, who proved in one season with the Colts the kind of playmaker he could have been with the Lions.

Pro Bowl Ebron put some respect on my name.

Add playoff winning Ebron to that shit too homie. --

The biggest difference for Ebron with the Colts is his role -- "Just being implemented into the offense," he said earlier this season. Drops have continued to plague him -- only three NFL players had more in 2018 -- but they're not so glaring next to those 13 touchdowns.

Ebron has also enjoyed a much more positive atmosphere in Indianapolis, after the air around him grew increasingly toxic in Detroit.

Nah it's just ppl like you that poison the air. I'm from the bottom I can handle it all. But hey ----‍♂️ PRO BOWL/PLAYOFF winning Ebron. Respect my name. #ColtsForged

After reveling in his team's win on Saturday, Ebron did the same when Tate helped the Eagles over the Bears on Sunday. Even current Lions receiver Marvin Jones took note of Tate's clutch play.

Ebron will get another chance to silence his critics next weekend when the Colts take on the Chiefs, the No. 1 seed in the AFC.

Tate and the Eagles, meanwhile, face the Saints, the No. 1 seed in the NFC.
