EAST LANSING, Mich. (97.1 The Ticket) -- Michigan State's Spring Game on Saturday afternoon gave fans a look at the Spartans on the field, but fans also got a look at a new alternate uniform the team rolled out Saturday afternoon.
And for some, they couldn't look away soon enough.

Alternate uniforms are definitely a good way to generate buzz among fans and can be a solid recruiting tool. When done right, a nice alternate uniform can go a long way. That is not the case with this new look.
MSU's basketball team has dabbled with neon green before, including full-on neon uniforms and black uniforms with neon accents. Both were decently well-received by fans.
This football uniform, though? Not so much.
