As a Michigan State fan, I really wanted to dislike Jon Jansen when he started working for 97.1 The Ticket.
Unfortunately, Jon is one of the nicest people I know -- and I have become a fan. Some would even say a Stan.
Don't like him yet? What I am about to tell you may change your mind on Jansen as well.
While filling in for host Doug Karsch while he is on vacation, Jansen made a shocking admission.
Talking about the current season of "Game of Thrones," he rated the final season a 2 out of 10.
Why so low? "I think they are trying to tie up too many things, in too short of a time," Jansen said. "It just happened and you're supposed to know it."
"The last episode first -- from a one to ten -- I would give it about a three. It's so hard to talk about it without giving specifics. There are some things that happened, and how they happened to two individuals and you just wish it happened in a better way."
"Honestly the season to me has been a two at best, I love the show, that's the problem is that I love the show. I haven't read the books but I am feeling that I want to go back and read the books and I know the last one hasn't been written."
Do you agree with Jansen? Khang and Gator were stunned.
Gator and Khang both rated the most recent episode a nine. "My instant reaction was 'Wow,'" Khang said.
The best part of the podcast above might even be when Jack (or Tommy Chong) called in, the "Game of Thrones" talk starts at 6:39 of the podcast.
