The children got a lesson in trash talk as 50-year-old Gary Payton and 55-year-old Ron Harper attended an NBA Cares event making Valentine's Day art at a children's hospital.
Payton, known as one of the most intimidating point guards in NBA history took the opportunity to rib his former opponent. "Eh Harp! Look. You can't even get close to what she just made," he said comparing Harper's work to the girl next to him.
"But you ain't got nothin' on ours. Bam," he bragged holding up a completed pink and red toilet paper roll bug.
Payton is best known for his 13 years as point guard for the Seattle Supersonics. He has one championship from his 2006 season with the Miami Heat. Harper has five including three from the Bulls and two from the Lakers.
