From Goalie To Instagram Model, Mikayla Demaiter Sets Instagram On Fire

Being a hockey goalie is tough ... but I would imagine being a model is just as tough in a different way. Hey, it's not easy to do some of those poses without throwing out your back!

Mikayla Demaiter played goalie for Bluewater Hawks in the Provincial Women’s Hockey League and has now become a social media influencer on Instagram.

Dear Hockey, It is time to say goodbye. It is time to turn the page and move to the next chapter of my life, for the first time you will not be my number one focus. I want to thank you for the places we’ve gone together. I also want to thank you for all the friends you have made me. My family sends their best as well. I know they will definitely miss seeing us together. I am excited for the future because everything you have taught me will allow me to succeed. There will still be early mornings, new adventures and new friends, and I hope that I embrace them with the same love and passion I did for you. Thanks again for everything.

Demaiter, from Chatham in Ontario, plays for the Bluewater Hawks in the Provincial Women's Hockey League.
The 19-year-old has to keep herself covered from head to toe in protective clothing when she is on the ice. 
She leaves little to the imagination as she shows off her incredible figure in a selection of skimpy bikinis.
Demaiter has sent her fans into a frenzy with snaps of herself in the gym, in swimming pools and on the beach.

Her social media reach is wild. She has over 230,000 followers. With photos like you will see below, you will understand why.
