97.1 The Ticket -- The Lions are getting a pair of starters back for Sunday's game at Philadelphia.

The team announced that linebacker Jarrad Davis and offensive lineman Taylor Decker are active for the third game of the season. Both players returned to practice this week after battling injuries. Davis, the Lions' first-round pick in the 2017 draft, had been out with an ankle injury since Week 3 of the preseason. Decker, meanwhile, appeared on the Lions' injury report mid-week following the team's tie at Arizona and missed the win over the Chargers.

Both Davis and Decker are expected to play, but it was not clear how much time they will see on the field Sunday.

Defensive lineman Da'Shawn Hand remains out with an elbow injury he has been battling since training camp.

Also among the Lions' inactives are running back Paul Perkins and quarterback Jeff Driskel, both added to the team this week. Rookies Amani Oruwariye and Travis Fulgham are also inactive.

The banged up Eagles will be without a handful of key players, including receivers DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffery, running back Corey Clement and defensive lineman Tim Jernigan.

The Eagles have so many players battling injuries that they canceled practice on Wednesday and instead opted for a walkthrough.
