Michigan Football Makes Amazing Recruiting Pitch To Clarkston's Rocco Spindler

Rocco Spindler, an offensive lineman from Clarkston, is one of the top recruits in the nation for 2021.

You might recognize the name. His father, Marc Spindler, was a defensive tackle who played seven seasons for the Lions. Before that, he was USA Today's High School Defensive Player of the Year in 1986.

Now it's Rocco's turn. With several schools courting him, he announced his 10 finalists last month. Michigan made the cut, along with the likes of Ohio State, Alabama and Notre Dame.

The Wolverines apparently went above and beyond in their latest recruiting pitch, creating a graphic that shows Spindler following his dad all the way to the NFL. It even includes Mel Kiper Jr. raving about Spindler ahead of the draft. Naturally, Spindler goes first overall.

He shared the graphic Thursday on Twitter and thanked the Michigan coaching staff for their efforts.

"This Graphic by far is one of my favorites!" he said. "Thank you Michigan coaching staff, having me and my father share these similar moments! #1990 - #2020."
