When Michigan State hosts Maryland and College GameDay on Saturday, the Spartans will be wearing some throwback threads.
They're turning back the clock to 2000, as shown on their Instagram account Monday morning. Maybe they can recapture some of that championship magic.
The caption says, "They're Back"
Michigan State last wore these uniforms en route to a 32-win season and the national championship. The only difference now is that they're made by Nike instead of Reebok.
On this date in 2000, Michigan State defeated Michigan 114-63 on Senior Night. The largest margin of victory over a B1G opponent in school history. Mateen Cleaves finished with 20 of MSU's 36 assists and Charlie Bell scored 31 points. #AlumniWeek pic.twitter.com/6QZFYV0HuL
