ANN ARBOR, Mich. (97.1 The Ticket) -- Michigan guard Charles Matthews was honored on senior night Thursday at Crisler Center, but he sat out with an ankle injury he suffered in Sunday's loss to Michigan State.

Matthews, who transferred from Kentucky before the 2016-17 season, is the lone senior for the Wolverines this season.

The team announced shortly before tip-off that Matthews would miss the last home game of the season against Nebraska. Matthews reportedly has a sprain and is considered day-to-day.
The No. 9 Wolverines (24-4, 13-4 Big Ten) honored Matthews with a framed jersey and a tribute video.
