A terrific offseason for Michigan State basketball continues.
The Spartans secured their third five-star recruit of the summer Tuesday in 2022 Canadian center Enoch Boakye.
A candidate to reclassify and enroll in 2021, Boakye chose MSU over the likes of Arizona and Texas Tech. He’s the 18th-ranked recruit in Canada, according to 247 Sports.
If Emoni Bates, the top recruit in the class of 2022, also reclassifies as expected, the Spartans’ 2021 class could be the best in program history. It already includes five-star G Max Christie and four-star G Pierre Brooks.
Either way, Tom Izzo has to be thrilled about the future of his program.
