First Look At Lions' Revamped Locker Room

Lions GM Bob Quinn met with the media on a Zoom call Wednesday morning to discuss the team's safety protocols amid COVID-19. Among the many changes in the team facility is a revamped locker room.

"It's every other locker on the (perimeter) with Plexiglas dividers, and then we bought brand new temporary lockers from Longhorn Lockers that are going to be spread out, physically distanced in the middle of the locker room with also Plexiglas between them," Quinn said. "So there's not as much walking space, but spread out at a very acceptable level."

We got our first look at the new setup Wednesday afternoon on Twitter.

Lions players reported to Allen Park on Tuesday for their first round of COVID-19 testing in preparation for training camp. Players with negative tests will be allowed in the facility starting Saturday, after which they'll be tested every day for the next two weeks.

Without A Bubble, Quinn Says NFL Season Depends On 'Trust'

"I feel comfortable waling into this facility every day because I know everybody around me is going to be tested all the time," Quinn said. "What I don't know is what people are going to be doing when they leave and go home. So we have to have a lot of trust, a lot of education and a lot of mature decision-making when people leave the facility."
