The Tigers made a round of spring training cuts on Tuesday, sending six players to Triple-A and one each to Double-A and Single-A.

Among those sent to Triple-A Toledo were infielder Isaac Paredes and outfielder Daz Cameron, ranked No. 5 and No. 7, respectively, among the club's prospects, per MLB Pipeline.

Paredes is 0-5 with a walk in three games this spring, while Cameron is 3-13 with two walks in seven games. If they fare well for the Mud Hens, both players should get a look in Detroit this season.

Right-hander Kyle Funkhouser (No. 26), center fielder Derek Hill (No. 30), infielder Sergio Alcantara and right-hander John Schreiber were also optioned to Toledo. Funkhouser has surrendered 10 hits and eight runs over 4 2/3 innings, while Hill, Detroit's top pick in 2014, is 4-18 with 10 strikeouts in 10 games.

Elsewhere in Detroit's prospect pipeline, right-hander Franklin Perez (No. 12) was sent to High-A Lakeland to continue strengthening his arm after missing most of last season with shoulder injuries. He's allowed five runs on five hits in three appearances this spring.

Fellow right-hander Anthony Castro, ranked No. 16 among Detroit's prospects, was sent to Double-A Erie. He's surrendered four hits, three walks and eight runs over three outings.

The Tigers now have 54 players in big-league camp, so several more cuts are coming.
