Another running back could be moving on from Michigan State.
Sophomore La'darius Jefferson has entered the transfer portal, according to Rainer Sabin of the Free Press. This comes a week after junior Connor Heyward did the same.
That means Michigan State's backfield is down two of its top three players from the start of the season. Redshirt freshman Elijah Collins, who took over the lead role in the second game of the season, is the only one left.
Michigan State sophomore running back La'Darius Jefferson has entered his name in the NCAA transfer portal, according to a source. He becomes the third Spartans player to go into the portal since Sept. 25. He was third on the team in rushing last season.

A three-star recruit from Muskegon in 2018, Jefferson has a total of 25 yards on 19 carries this season, an average of just 1.3 yards per attempt. He does have two touchdowns.
He had this to say on Twitter Tuesday afternoon:
