DETROIT (97.1 The Ticket) -- The Lions will take on the Buccaneers Sunday at Ford Field without running back Bo Scarbrough on the field.

Scarbough had been listed as questionable heading into the game after leaving the game with sore ribs last week at Minnesota. The Lions signed Scarbrough in early November after losing starting running back Kerryon Johnson for the season. Through four games, Scarbrough has put up 301 yards on 72 carries, with a touchdown.

J.D. McKissic, Ty Johnson and Wes Hillis -- who was signed off the practice squad on Saturday -- will be the team's available running backs on Sunday.

In total, the Lions will be without nine starters. The team placed defensive lineman Da'Shawn Hand (ankle), wide receiver Marvin Jones, Jr. (ankle) amd linebacker Jarrad Davis (knee, ankle) on injured reserve this week.

Scarbrough joins quarterback Matthew Stafford, DL A'Shawn Robinson, OL Rick Wagner and others on the team's inactive list.
