DETROIT (97.1 The Ticket) -- The Lions' biggest challenge of the season thus far just got even tougher.
With the high-powered Kansas City Chiefs paying a visit to Ford Field Sunday, the Lions will be without Pro Bowl cornerback Darius Slay and wide receiver Danny Amendola, the team announced Sunday morning.
The Lions (2-0-1) will be forced to find a way to slow down Patrick Mahomes and Co. without Slay, who is battling a hamstring injury. Amendola is out with a chest injury he suffered last week.
Quarterback Matthew Stafford was listed as questionable with a hip injury, but he is active for Sunday's game. It's not clear how limited he will be.
