The Lions have sliced yet another member of their 2019 draft class from the active roster.
The team waived wide receiver Travis Fulgam on Thursday, according to Field Yates. Fulgham, a sixth-round pick from Old Dominion, was inactive for each of the first three games.
Tight end Isaac Nauta and defensive tackle P.J. Johnson, both taken in the seventh round, were cut at the end of training camp. Nauta was brought back on the practice squad, while Johnson was let go altogether.
By releasing Fulgam, the Lions are down to four recievers on the active roster: Kenny Golladay, Marvin Jones, Danny Amendola and Marvin Hall. It's a surprising move considering Amendola has been unable to practice this week with a chest injury.
Detroit could choose to elevate a receiver from the practice squad -- either Cris Lacy or Tom Kennedy -- or sign a free agent.
They take on the Chiefs Sunday at Ford Field.
