Tom Izzo's 2020 recruiting class took a hit on Monday.
Four-star point guard Jalen Terry from Mount Morris decommitted from Michigan State, according to 247 Sports.
Terry's decision comes a week after the Spartans secured a committment from fellow four-star point guard AJ Hoggard.
"After rethinking it we thought it was best to open it up," his father told 247 Sports.
Terry is ranked No. 7 in his class among point guards and No. 55 overall, according to 247 Sports. Hoggard is ranked No. 13 among point guards and No. 71 overall.
In his junior season at Beecher High School, Terry averaged 22.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 6.3 assists. He also had offers from the likes of Iowa, Iowa State and Missouri when he chose Michigan State.
The Spartans' 2020 class now features two players in Hoggard and four-star center Mady Sissoko. They also have offers out to five-star guard Bryce Thompson from Oklahoma and five-star forward Isaiah Jackson from Waterford.
Both players are said to be seriously considering Michigan State.
