With the move, the Pistons get Drummond's salary off the books. He had the option of opting in for $28.7 million for the 2020-21 season.

Both Knight and Henson will be free agents after this season.

Per Wojnarowski, Detroit will get the lesser of Cleveland's two second-round picks in 2023. The Cavs don't have a second-round pick in this year's draft, and their second-rounder in 2021 belongs to the Pelicans.
