The 2010's aren't a decade the Pistons will remember fondly. They had one winning season and two forgettable playoff appearances. From 2010-11 to 2019-20, they were 136 games under .500.
The 2020's can't come soon enough.
Still, there were some memorable moments along the way.
Like the time Blake Griffin reached 50 points with a game-winning and-1 layup against the 76ers early in the 2018-19 season.
Or the time midway through the 2014-15 season Brandon Jennings hit a buzzer beater against the Spurs -- in San Antonio -- to lift the Pistons to their sixth win in a row.
Or the time Detroit overcame a 19-point second-half deficit against the Raptors to win in Dwane Casey's return to Toronto.
But the Pistons' best play of the decade came early in the 2013-14 season, according to a video from NBA.com highlighting one play for each team.
Jennings was involved again. And the finishing touches were applied by a young Andre Drummond. The duo combined for an off-the-backboard alley-oop against the Lakers that drew oohs and ahhs from the Staples Center crowd.
In a fitting conclusion to the night, Detroit lost by 15.
