Yet another Michigan State football player is entering the transfer portal.

This time it's wide receiver Weston Bridges, who confirmed the news Monday via Twitter.

Bridges, who hasn't appeared in a game this season, is the fourth member of the team -- and the third member of the offense -- to enter the portal in the last three weeks. It started with linebacker Brandon Bouyer-Randle and continued with running backs Connor Heyward and La'Darius Jefferson.

A three-star recruit from Ohio in 2017, Bridges arrived at Michigan State as a running back, then tore his ACL in training camp and took a redshirt that season. He returned last year and played in six games as a backup running back, gaining 53 yards on 16 carries.

Michigan State moved him to wide receiver this spring, but the switch never paid off. Bridges has spent the duration of this season on the sidelines, and he wasn't on the team's travel roster for its last two games against Ohio State and Wisconsin.

Bridges attracted interest from Alabama and Ohio State as a recruit, according to 247 Sports, though neither school made him an offer. He ultimately chose Michigan State over the likes of Purdue, Missouri and Syracuse.

His next stop remains to be seen.
