The people writing mock drafts for NFL.com might just be trying to troll fan bases.

Earlier this month, NFL.com's Daniel Jeremiah had the Lions selecting Iowa tight end T.J. Hockenson. Tuesday's mock draft is from Lance Zierlein. It might not be trolling, but Zierlein has Michigan's Rashan Gary going second overall.

It's the player Zierlein sends to the Lions that might make some fans unhappy.

With the eighth pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Detroit Lions select Montez Sweat -- edge defender.

Sweat started his career with Michigan State, but finished it up with Mississippi State. He racked up 101 tackles and 22.5 sacks in two seasons with the Bulldogs.

"With Ezekiel Ansah likely to depart in free agency, Sweat could step right in at his spot," Zierlein writes. "Sweat is a long-limbed, ascending rush talent who made himself money last week at the Senior Bowl.

Sweat had 53 tackles and 12 sacks during his senior season.
