SOUTH BEND, Ind. (97.1 The Ticket) -- Apparently Leprechauns can't ice skate.
Ahead of Tuesday's Winter Classic between the Blackhawks and Bruins at Notre Dame Stadium, the school's Leprechaun mascot was making the rounds on the ice with a flag, when suddenly he went down hard and promptly going viral on social media.
2019 didn't get off to a great start for this guy -- and 2018 didn't end well, either -- as the Fighting Irish got routed 30-3 in Saturday's College Football Playoff semifinal.
Enjoy the scenes of the Winter Classic in all its snowy glory while you can, because next year, the event is going to be in Dallas.
