Can you fault a man for representing his hometown ... even if it's a small town?

Farmington Hills doesn't get as much respect as say Detroit, Chicago or New York -- far from it. But that didn't stop area man known online as Clooner from taking the title of "King of Farmington". But which is it? Farmington or Farmington Hills. I'm confused.

Don't be fooled by Clooner's soft appearance. Warning, the lyrics are not family-friendly and definitely NSFW

The music video has been making the rounds since it was posted Monday appearing on various Twitter accounts and including self-proclaimed busiest internet music nerd, Anthony Fantano who runs music blog theneedledrop.com.

Michigander and actor, Dax Shepard, vouched for the man in a Tweet reply to Huff Post writer and Detroit Native Philip Lewis. "This man is indeed the King of Farmington. I'm sorry, Farmington Hills," wrote Shepard.

Let me take it from here. I'm from about 12 miles away. This man is indeed the King of Farmington. I'm sorry, Farmington Hills.

Why is this song relevant? It's got a great beat, the lyrics aren't anything mind-blowing, but it's got an understated, underdog feel and the music video has decent production value and pays respect to points of interest that locals will appreciate including Chicken King and the Welcome to Farmington Hills sign.

Clooner gives nods to local businesses of Farmington Hills in his rhymes.

"Colder than Silver DairyUnderground like Plus Skate"

What steals the show is Clooner's unabashed bravery to put himself in the spotlight with his hardcore rapper growl, t-shirt and Crocs.

Who's going to come for the crown? Probably nobody. Being the title of King of Farmington doesn't come with a lot of clout.
