As the college football season approaches, Yahoo Sports columnist Dan Wetzel joins the Karsch and Anderson show to discuss the risks of COVID-19. Wetzel thinks "the bubble" that's been successful in other leagues, won't be possible in college sports.
"What we know in sports is the best way to compete safely is to have a bubble," said Wetzel.
He added, "well they can't do that in college football, but you can create some kind of a bubble by saying look, our guys are at our facility for 10 hours a day."
Wetzel cites how many coaches are touting how their players are surrounded by professionals and also how the motivation to play in a game would keep them out of parties, crowds and risky situations amid the pandemic.
