February 6, 2019 Bullock, in the final year of his contract with the Pistons, is averaging 12 points per game on 38.4 percent 3-point shooting this season.
Mykhailiuk, the sharpshooter from Kansas, is averaging just 3.2 PPG in about 10 minutes per game. He put up 14.6 PPG on 44 percent 3-point shooting in his senior season at Kansas, and shot at a 40.9 percent clip from deep for his entire college career.
Sitting just outside the playoff picture on the eve of the NBA trade deadline, many believe the Pistons will have more moves in the coming days. Owner Tom Gores opened up last week about wanting to make a playoff push, but trading away the team's best shooter could be a sign that the team is looking toward the future. With Bullock's expiring contract, the Pistons are ensuring they are getting assets - a young player under team control and another draft pick.
It is unclear what other moves the team may make before the deadline, but the Pistons have also been linked to rumors of acquiring point guard Mike Conley from the Grizzlies.
