Karsch and Anderson: Biggest Offseason Questions for the Lions

Now that Matt Patricia and Bob Quinn are confirmed to be returning in 2020, Doug and Khang take a look at the biggest issues facing the Lions going forward with this regime.

The discussion unsurprisingly started with the defensive coordinator spot currently held by Paul Pasqualoni. The likely replacement will be in charge of turning around the 31st-ranked defense in terms of yards allowed. Doug was blunt on his expectations for the hire.

"Nobody's defensive coordinator that is any good is [going to] leave a town where they're doing [well] to come to Detroit."

Darius Slay's future came into focus for Khang, who preferred to keep the safety despite his comments over the course of the season.

"I would like to keep him. I don't know how mentally invested he is in this team anymore, but in the end, if you show him the money all will be right again in his world. I don't know if the Lions are willing to do that."
